The distinct smell of 4711 permeates the scent...add a hint of lavender and a little something else (thyme)...very relaxing, clean scent.

I was hesitant at first to purchase as a tester but honestly, the cologne was nicely packaged and no signs of use. Had the original tag from the German brand 4711.
