Hypnotic Poison (the 2014 version) is a warm and spicy vanilla jasmine on me. It has excellent longevity, lasting around 8 to 12 hours on me, and it has excellent projection too. I love the bottle! I gave it a 4 out of 5 rating because the jasmine smells a bit to sharp for my liking (likely the mix of jasmine and licorice). If it was a creamy jasmine I would buy a bottle for sure, but for this reason I will have to pass.

Beautiful presentation; soft fragrance with a hint of spice and long lasting. My last bottle has been empty for several years because I was told by a department store employee it wasn't on the market any longer. I'm so glad I found it today on line. I bought two bottles, one for a friend and one for me. Great day for me!

Love at first smell! This is always in my perfume wardrobe. I have to admit that I first bought this because I thought the name sounded so intriguing but believe me it lives up to its name. It's sexy, sensual warm and exotic. High compliments from many men and women always want to know what I'm wearing (confidentially, I sometimes lie so that I can keep this scent all to myself!) It's sweet without being sickening. You get lots of vanilla at first that dries down warm and powdery. One spray gets you through the day. Not a scent for the faint of heart or those who like to fade in the background. Strong scent for a strong woman. I hope you love it as much as I do!
